Antique Folding Pocket Kodak

Hey folks. Been so busy lately that I’ve been neglecting the blog. However, I’m taking a long holiday weekend so I’m changing gears, slowing down, and relaxing a bit. That doesn’t mean I stop shooting though.

Anyone that knows me is familiar with my love for antique cameras, not just the latest digital gear. My dear friend Chris surprised me with one of the best Christmas gifts ever. It’s not just any old camera. It’s a 1908 (ish) No. 1A Folding Pocket Kodak made in Rochester, NY by the Eastman Kodak Co. Even better, it’s super special as it was his Grandfather’s, George Franklin Randall from Fairmont, WV. It’s a one of a kind gift and I love it dearly. The patina on the leather is just gorgeous.

Today, I snagged a DSLR, flash, light stand, umbrella, and a fill card and made these. Super simple with crunchy blacks. Just how I like ’em. Enjoy!

Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
